Account information you provide when you register or subscribe: name, email address, login credentials (stored hashed), and billing details handled by our payment processor.

Visitor data collected on behalf of our customers: when a site owner installs HeatView, we collect pageviews, clicks, scrolls, session recordings and similar interaction data from their visitors, on the site owner's behalf. For this data, the site owner is the data controller and HeatView acts as a processor.

Technical data such as server logs and cookies strictly necessary to keep you logged in.

3. How we use information

To provide and operate the service, process payments, provide support, keep the service secure, and improve our product. We do not use your data or your visitors' data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

4. Cookies

We use only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the dashboard. HeatView's visitor tracking is first-party and cookie-light by design.

5. Sharing and third parties

We never sell personal data and never share it with advertising networks. We use a small number of processors purely to run the service, such as our payment provider (Stripe) and our hosting provider. These parties process data only on our instructions.

6. Data retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Visitor analytics data is retained according to your plan's data-history period and is then removed. You can request deletion of your data or close your account at any time.

7. Security and storage

Data is stored on servers located in Japan. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it, including hashed passwords and access controls.

8. Your rights
